EVERYBODY GETS 15 EXP
Vector fast-breaks the car at the curb in front of the planetarium, next to two monstrously tall caped figures in fedoras, whose kabuki-mask covered faces watch the arrival impassively.
“Vector, what are you doing?”, Seven asked in a panic. Vector doesn’t respond. Madball lets loose a curse and hits his Tap, trying to find out what’s up with Vector.
Seven reaches for the door handle as the Bigun next to Vector says “Hand over the hybrid and drop your weapons”. Spurred on by this obviously threatening statement, Seven finishes his car exit and pull his Columbus, unloading both barrels in the lead Bigun to less effect that he would have preferred. Red and Madball jump into action, Red staying where his and pumping lead through the window into the second Bigun while Madball exits the passenger side of the taxi and sets up a covered attack position.
Seven drops his weapon and vaults over the car, using his martial training to its full potential for the first time in his live, the skills he’d been practicing finally clicking into instinctive place and he begins to pummel the lead Bigun. Strangely his fists make contact but somehow pass right through the body * DESCRIBE THIS MORE *.
Red keeps dropping lead into the second creature while seven pummels the first unconscious, and then assists red by finishing of the other Bigun.
Red and Seven are headed in to the meet with the Librarian, when Madball calls Seven on his Tap and says “Seven! I’ve found your peeple!!”. Seven asks what he means, and gets “Dude, they look just like you!”, and sends seven a Tappix of the of the unmasked face of their former adversaries.
Seven gets a little freaked, as the face is his, this is clearly a genetic clone. He and Madball throw the two bodies into the stolen pizza delivery can and light up a grenade under it to burn the whole thing down (after recovering Vectors inert body and stashing it a bush outside the Planetarium).
Madball, Red and Seven make it in to the Librarian, escorted by a humongous Rhino meat-roid. The Librarian projects a hologram to the party and works them to an agreement to retrieve the case, amounts were individually agreed to, secretly by Tap. In exchange, everyone gets the info dump detailed at the end of this log.
Madball detects a bug in his Tap, and cleans both it and the bugs that are in Red and Seven’s Taps as well.
Red, Seven and Madball exit the Planetarium to find that the entire scene has been cleaned up (scorch marks remain), but Vector remains hidden under the shrubbery. Seven rents a VTOL Cherry Lite (which we have determined can seat 6 individuals. Madball meanwhile works some hackery to completely deactivate and isolate Vector until he can spend some time repairing him.
They get in the rented VTOL and Seven sets a course to the Sinners Haven. Both Red and Madball work to convince Seven not to go there, but Seven gets a little stubborn. However, his fear of Red causes him to suggest that they instead go to the NC Aquarium, where he has private access and root control of the security system. They agree, and they all get there. Red speaks up and wants to go get repaired, Seven throws some aspersions about his cyberdoc, and Madball checks out the situation, uncovering the fact that it was the cyberdoc that called the cops on the party. This sends Red into a Vengance, and he heads out, despite Sevens attempts to delay his retribution. Madball looks up a couple of cyberdocs on the way to the cyberdocs place, and send the location of one one way to Red, so that he can get restored to full fighting efficiency prior to combat. Red agrees.
Madball sets a moderated buffer for all inbound commands to Vector, and then turns him back on.
